Merry Christmas

Before that, i was eagerly anticipating Christmas. Afterall, this is the first Christmas that I celebrate by going to mass with Luke and his family, and then to his place for the  presents and food.

I was stunned when I unwrapped my present to reveal this:

Never in a million years did I expect my present to be the camera I've been wanting to get.

"But but you said it was all sold out!! It was sold out at places we saw!"

Turns out he bought the camera a few weeks before Christmas. He didn't know the cameras were really sold out when he told me so. And he deliberately had us to miss the Audio House clearance sales so I wouldn't buy it.

Right now I'm still learning how to get the pictures I want. It's frustrating when I keep getting blurry pictures or under/over exposed photos.

And now, I feel kind of sad that Christmas is almost over. Well, another 6 more days...

Here are some of the better photos I've taken with my new camera

Decorating the Tree

Decorating the Christmas Tree was something I did 5 years ago in Finland. And yesterday, I finally had the chance to do it again. :)

Christmas carols filled the air as we all helped to get the tree up, light it up with yellow and red lightings, hanged gold and red bubbles and topped it off with an angel. We popped 2 crackers and there were paper crowns inside! That was my first time popping crackers.

Then it was time to put the presents under the tree. The Boy waved my present around, going "now where is EVELYN'S PRESENT?" Aggrrhhh... He tricked me into telling him what I got for him!

Wish I had a chance to take photos of that beautiful tree. Hopefully by Christmas Eve, I would be able to get my hands on the Canon Powershot SX20 IS. :D
