I know the craze on the made-in-Korea Happy Call pan has been going on for some time. So last week, I managed to get my hands on one! A relative gave my grandma a pan but she decided to stick with her trusty wok. Rather than to let the pan collect dust in the storeroom, I decided to bring it home and put it into good use over the weekend!
1st try - Ham, onion & cheese omelette
It didn't turn out as (visually) appealing as I'd have liked but delicious nonetheless. Cheese was a little dry as I flipped the pan without folding the omelette over.

Thanks to boyfriend's sister who gave us a pair of tickets, we caught a 10:30am show (Madagascar: Europe's Most Wanted!) after breakfast. I meant to show off my New Look studded wedges in this photo but the boyfriend decided to leave those out.
Mussels & Clams in White Wine @ Robert Timms
It was such a beautiful Saturday afternoon that we decided to dine alfresco at Robert Timms. The intention was to grab some coffee and people-watch, but I couldn't resist having the Mussels & Clams as well (see why my diet plans never succeed?).
Back home in the evening, I decided to make Coca Cola chicken. Yes, you are reading it right - a can of Coke was part of the recipe to cooking these wings.
Coca Cola chicken
You can get the recipe here. Although it says 200ml of water, I actually used about 100ml and poured in about 50ml more Coke.
And for breakfast on Sunday.... Tadaaahh!
Ham & cheese sandwich with pan-fried mushrooms on the side
You can actually toast sandwich using Happy Call pan! Amazing right? I also made omelette, and this time, I folded the omelette so the cheese remains soft and creamy.
2nd try - Ham (Yes! Again!), onion, mushrooms, tomatoes & cheese omelette
Ooo... Cheese...
And for dinner, it was (instant) noodles tossed with ham, potatoes, tomatoes and some spring onions.
Since then, any diet plans that I have in mind have been blown away by Happy Call pan...
you're killing with those photos! foodporn! haha
